Responsibilities as Moulding Technician :
• Moulding machine set up in line with agreed targets.
• Maintenance responsibility for designated machines.
• Problem solving technical issues and daily technical troubleshooting.
• Participate in Improvement teams.
• Retain spare parts inventory as appropriate for presses & ancillary equipment including consumables. Order replacements as required.
• On a daily basis report all problem issues to Moulding Manager.
• Responsible for the working condition of all machinery in the moulding department. Including safety, efficiency, fitness for use & proper operation (appropriate settings).
• Record all appropriate production information in SPIN production recording system.
• Carry out product inspection activity as defined in the Operating Procedures.
• Follow the production plan defined in SAP.
• Be attentive to operator concerns. Resolve any issues flagged by operators to ensure that good product is made.
• Provide maintenance schedule data and any deviations from the schedule to the Planner.
• Responsible for the efficiency of equipment during the shift.
• Material handling when required.
