Responsibilities:
The Process Engineer is responsible for the development, setup, qualify and maintenance of the process and tools for the Molding, Spray Painting & Assembly operations. He will work closely with Production and QA departments to resolve any quality or production issues. He will also provide leadership to a team of Technicians
Position Accountability
- Develop, define & qualify the process & machine setting based on customers’ requirements.
- Drive process improvement and optimization to achieve best quality, cycle time, yield, material usage and man power requirement.
- Conduct process capability study and identify manufacturability issues.
- Develop, qualify and maintenance the jig and fixture used in the production.
- Conduct product root cause failure analysis and provide corrective action for customer rejects.
- Provide new tool & machinery operation training to production personnel.
- Prepare the documentations requirement for the process.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering from recognized institution.
- 1 years experience in spray painting or molding industry
- Position based in Batam, Indonesia
- Able to communicate in English & Bahasar
- Familiar with MS Office
