Webmaster (WM)
Jobs & Responsibilities:
- Webmaster is responsible to Develop, Deploy and Maintaining PerkinElmer Intranet / Extranet / Portal
- Plans for regular Web Development and updates of Web Pages to maintain timeliness of data.
- Work closely with end users to provide improvements to current Web system.
- Reviews, spell-checks, error checks all web content prior to and after release, to maintain the quality of the Web Pages.
- Performs all day-to-day maintenance of web pages, assuring pages and changes are referenced in the major search engines, and responding to e-mail about the pages.
- Provides regular status reports to Application Leader and Asia Web Development Team
Requirements:
- Must be proficient with Visual Studio.NET tools (ASP.NET, VB.NET /C#) 2003/2005
- Good database knowledge in SQL Server Database design and SQL Query syntax
- Experience with HTML 3.2/4.0 at the tag level, no WYSIWYG is required.
- DHTML, COM and client-side JavaScript programming experience is also required.
- Microsoft server-side VBScript and ASP development experience is preferred
- Knowledge and experience with installing, configuring, maintaining, tuning, analyzing and optimizing websites in the NT environment
- Diploma / Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or similar qualification
