PT. Petrotech Batam, We have an immediate vacancy for a permanent position as a:

Maintenance Mechanic

Reports to Technical Manager and be a part of Proserv/ Petrotech, Asia Pacific.

Requirements for Qualifications, Experience/ competence & skills as follows:

• Diesel and hydraulic system training certificate is essential
• Technical degree in power systems is an advantage
• Have 5 years experience in diesel engine mechanics and hydraulic power systems are essential, more experience is preferred
• Having a knowledge of Diesel engines, hydraulic control systems and hydraulic Motors
• Experience with offshore and subsea tooling and control system is an advantage

Responsibilities and Personal Qualities:

• Repair, inspect and maintain Diesel and Hydraulic Power Equipment
• Provide tech manager with consumable and parts inventory list and usage schedule
• Write, execute and maintenance schedule and programs for all equipment
• Travel to work sites as needed for onsite repairs
• Provide technical support to offshore technicians during planning, load out and execution of work during and after jobs / projects
• Demonstrate a personel commitment to quality, Health, Safety and the Environment
• Apply Proserv/ Petrotech’s Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Policy and Safety management systems
• Punctual, organized and able to keep a tidy work station, proactive on maintenance and troubleshooting of all equipment is preferred

Additional relevant information and future development:

• This job will require infrequent travel, mostly location based, Passport will be required.
• There will be an in-house training for future development
