Job Scope:

- Assist Engineer/Assistant Engineer in ensuring Welding and Fitting Quality.
- Assist Engineer/Assistant Engineer in ensuring Safety and overall well-being of workers.
- Assist Engineer/ Assistant Engineer in co-ordinate and liaising with Ship Repair Managers, Surveyors and customers on critical site issues.
Requirements:
- Diploma/ITC/NTC in SOE.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.

GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK
WELDING INSPECTOR, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING.
1. Providing and reviewing welding expertise in the development of WPS and PQR requirement by modifying and arranging for qualification of welding procedures including updating and maintaining the files of qualified welder and welding procedures.
2. Providing and monitoring welder testing for welder qualification according to wps each project
3. Carry out visual inspection according to the specification classification and owner recruitment applied.
4. Carry out fit up inspection of sub assembling and block erection preparation before welding according to classification requirement.
5. Liaison with third party inspection authorities required.
6. Liaison with Owner Preventatives and classification results of in process inspection
7. Raising non conformance reports ( occurrence report ) and approving re work process .
8. Planning Radiography testing position and reviewing film result according to specification applied.
9. Carry Out MPI and dry penetrate testing refers to ASME acceptance criteria.
10. Carry Out air testing and structural testing after completion of hull construction according to classification requirement
11. Carry Out Leveling and Keel Deflection of the vessel according classification and owner as Weekly report.
12. Providing report of status inspection to QC/ QA Manager.
13. providing and testing Commissioning of piping system complete with equipment connected and testing Commissioning deck Machineries.
14. Providing and performing load generator and safety device testing liaison with vendor and surveyor.
15. Attend of meeting project weekly and raising quality issue.
