HSE Officer

1) Establishing emergency preparedness plans to deal with possible catastrophes involving hotel operations, such as fires, explosions, spills and releases of hazardous materials, earthquakes and loss of utilities.
2) Evaluating materials and equipment to control any work place hazard.
3) Establishing work rules and communicating information to employees to ensure safe work habits, awareness of hazards and the use of appropriate protection.
4) Assuring that guest accident and employee occupational accident investigations are conducted and reported as required by law and policy.
5) Evaluating the environmental health and safety concerns associated with new modified materials, operations and facilities.
6) Maintaining an inventory of chemicals used in the hotel and obtaining technical data regarding their use, handling and disposal.
7) Developing and maintaining appropriate environmental health and safety program records.
Analyzing programs records and results of survey and program reviews and developing a plan to improve he hotel environmental health and safety performance minimizing property losses and prevent hazardous release to the community or environment.
9) Developing working relationships within the hotel that will maintain and attain high-level employee morale.
10) Conducting myself in a manner as to encourage fellow employees to do
