NewBridge Recruitment Pte Ltd (Singapore) is looking for:
MANAGER / ASSISTANT MANAGERS (HULL / OUTFITTING / ACCOMMODATION DESIGN)
Job Functions:
- Overall responsible for detail design of hull structures and hull outfitting for commercial and naval ships, and other marine related engineering products
- Lead and manage the design team of hull engineers & assistant engineers performing calculations and design of new ships and major ship conversions
- Overall in charge of technical evaluation of hull equipment and systems for the successful implementation of detail designs
- Conduct design reviews with customers, classification societies, national regulatory bodies, consultants and vendors
- Responsible for planning, control and monitor detail design/drawing schedule according to build strategy
Requirements:
- Recognized degree in naval architecture or shipbuilding
- Familiar with 2D (e.g., AutoCAD) & 3D CAD (e.g., Tribon M) system as design tools
- Familiar with marine classification and statutory regulations, etc.
- Possess strong managerial skill, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, writing skill, self-motivated and welcomes new ideas and challenges
- Assistant Manager: Not less than 5 years of relevant post-graduate experience in hull structure or hull outfitting design for new ships
- Manager: Min 8 years relevant experience with at least 1-2 years in a managerial capacity
